The styling comparisons that people keep posting are continuously confusing the crap out of me. If taking a few styling cues and matching them to other vehicles, while ignoring the holistic view of the cars in their entirety is a valid way to compare vehicles, then I suppose we can compare any two vehicles on the planet and not be completely wrong.

Does anyone remember all the comparisons that people made between the Chrysler 300 and the RR Phantom? Same rules apply here that applied then. The 300 does look like a Phantom........until you see it sitting next to a Phantom.

Okay, this got me. I admittedly was more interested in Supermarine's contribution to the picture, and had the thought of "don't care about Mustang, want plane."

So yeah, if you glance at it going 391 knots, Astons and Mustangs do kind of look like each other.

I think people are too much looking to bitch about something. They try really hard too see something that is kinda there, but not much. Except for the chinese most designers don't think, lets copy that, because it looks good. Yes, there can be some sort of plagiarism sometimes, but it is not so widespread then some people claim. I really can't understand how people can really belive that Ford designers looked at US Accord coupe and decided to put something from it on the Mustang. This is total BS. Also claiming that all cars look the same today, but they were all different in the past. If you do an extensive check you will see that most cars look the same in every era.
